Proud for Five Years Running

This year’s Pride books comes in two sizes, with your choice of paper formats. On July 1st, $5 from the sale of each book goes to the Trevor Project to help in their work to fight suicide among LGBTQ young people.

Large Pride Journal
from $34.95

For the fifth year in a row, we are happy to present our annual Pride Journals! Each is made to order BY HAND in Baltimore City, and each one goes toward our July 1st donation to The Trevor Project, whose great work we are always proud to support.

Our first Pride books, in 2002, were covered in Kraft-Tex (tree leather) and were a big hit. This time around, we’re offering two sizes and your choice of page formats.* The colorful signature tabs show through the spine, and they are full of 144 pages of lovely, super smooth, white eco-paper that gets rave reviews for its fountain pen friendliness. A heavy, Egyptian cotton thread that varies in hue along the spectrum of the rainbow holds everything together. The covers are cut by hand (no fancy hopping bugs up in here), with circles along the spine and a rounded front flap to protect your writing and drawings. The flap closure is secured with a pair of metal button studs, which are (literally) attached with tiny screws and could be reused for another project when your book is full.

Thank you for supporting my work and for supporting at-risk Queer kids via my favorite donee.

*If you’d like something with different paper stocks, etc., please get in touch to get the thread-ball rolling.

Details: 8 X 5 inches; longstitch (inspired by Keith Smith’s longstitch through slots binding) binding with heavy cotton cord; Kraft-Tex covers, treated and cut in-house; 144 pages of 80gsm Super Paper; rainbow tabs from Neenah’s Astrobrights line; button-stud closure (2); made to order in Charm City.
