Candy Corn Journals
Around this time of year, it seems like these tri-color treats are everywhere — in bowls, lunchboxes, and stuck in your kids’ teeth. I made these books as a homage to the candy I wish I liked more. The spines are constructed of white Kraft-Tex, with orange cloth lining. “Orange Fizz” and “Lemon Drop” cardstock outward from the spine, making these A5 books look good enough to eat. I used white Irish linen thread in a late medieval longstitch binding, with gently rounded spines. Choose your preferred page format of super smooth fountain pen friendly paper, all contained between two endpapers of one-of-a-kind hand marbled paper.
★Edition of 10 books — made by hand in Charm City.
Approx. 8×6 inches; US-made card over boards, cloth, and paper “leather”; hand-marbled end pages; linen thread treated with local beeswax; 200 pages of super smooth eco paper.
