Bound in very thick vegan leather, the internally reinforced spine will outlast you and me, and the pages being directly sewn to the cover helps the tome to open WIDE as soon as you get it. To bundle it all together and to protect your writing, the flap closure features 2 sturdy button studs, which are screwed to the material. These marry to the straps hand-sewn with a chain stitch.
