If you have always wanted a journal that is portable, can handle your inks, and one which is made by hand, look no further. The late medieval style longstitch binding means that your journal will open wide from the first time that you open it and will last longer than you will, thanks to the pages being sewn directly to the cover material. The wrap-style cover also protects your writing and drawings while you are out and about, and a riveted metal snap closure keeps the book closed until you need it.

A generous helping of 192 lined pages of US-made, 24lb Classic Crest means that this book will last a long time. The paper here is "White Stone," a sheet that *looks* textured, but it is perfectly smooth (I use fountain pens on it, with excellent results). Coming in at about 5 X 4 inches, you can stick this book in your pocket and embark on your next adventure, whether it is to the Walter's, your favorite coffeeshop, or just a stroll around The City of Neighborhoods.

All of my books are made by me, by hand, in my apartment overlooking the Roland Watertower.

Dating at least as far back as the late Medieval period, this "stationery" binding was developed to be simple, durable, and portable. Combined with modern materials, you have a journal that will *not* bust, that shows off its non-adhesive binding, and that opens wide for you right from the start.
