Celestial Drawing Books

These stiff-covered sketchbooks open WIDE - all of the way! I used Gary Frost’s sewn boards binding for these books. The covers are attached to the textblock during the primary sewing, and the spine is a “break away” style. These details make for a secure + flexible binding, without visible stitches. Kraft-Tex gives the spines the required flexibility and adds durability that exceeds bookcloth. With easy-opening spines and stiff boards, you can sketch (or write; the drawing paper is nice for fountain pens) wherever your adventures take you.
