Celestial Secret Belgian Journals

$25.99

Belgian binder Anne Goy wanted a book structure that would open easily like a Coptic bound book but one that would also provide protection for the spine. The result is the Criss-Cross (BKA Secret Belgian) binding. The front and back covers are attached to the spine board with clever stitching, and the textblock is sewn directly to the inside of the spine board. This unique structure works as a lovely hybrid of a traditional casebound book and a longstitched book that opens flat.

6.4 X 4.6 inches; 192 blank pages of 64 gsm super smooth Japanese paper; parchment endpapers; decorative paper over boards/cloth over boards (spine); 100% linen thread
