Marble and Coptic Journal

This medium/briefcase sized journal has hand-marbled suminagashi covers and lined, fountain-pen friendly paper inside. The Coptic style binding of this journal allows it to open flat right from the start. I bound it with cotton thread from France and waxed them by hand with local beeswax, resulting in color-fast and vibrant thread that is strong and beautiful. Please see below for more details.
