Chunky Cloth Coptic Sketchbook

I got it into my head one day to make a 300 page sketchbook that was held closed by an elastic and bound in such a way that it would be durable and USEFUL -- opening wide from the start, with stiff covers for drawing on foot. This chunky book with deckled pages is what happened, and I have to do this again. I tore each page individually for a slightly deckled edge (while keeping accurate measurements), and I stuck some secret marbled endpapers in there for kicks. The thread is heavier than I usually sew with, and this beast of a book won’t bust.
